“WALK AND ACT” Campaign Organized in Kathmandu for Dengue Control

Kathmandu – A “WALK AND ACT” campaign was organized in Kathmandu to raise awareness about dengue prevention and to eliminate mosquito larvae. Volunteers participated by spreading awareness messages while moving through the streets with microphones.

The program was organized jointly by the Kathmandu Metropolitan City Health Department and the Office of the Municipal Executive, Bagmati Province. The campaign started on Friday, Bhadra 6, 2082 (Nepali calendar), from the National Assembly Hall, Kathmandu.

During the event, participants educated the public about dengue symptoms, preventive measures, and the importance of destroying mosquito larvae.
