Voting is currently underway to elect the new leadership of the CPN (UML). The 11th General Convention's polling station is witnessing a contest for the post of chairperson between the outgoing Chairman, KP Sharma Oli, and the outgoing Senior Vice Chairperson, Ishwar Pokharel. As a result, the leaders are busy soliciting votes.

There are 11 candidates vying for the 5 Vice Chairperson posts, while Shankar Pokharel and Surendra Pandey are contesting for the General Secretary position. The convention venue is vibrant and colorful with campaign materials.
