TikToker Abha Dhungana Confirmed to Debut Through ‘Kashyap’; Riddi Khatri Also Selected via Audition

Popular TikTok star and influencer Abha Dhungana has been signed as the lead actress in the film Kashyap. According to director Dinesh G. Khadka, the decision to cast her was made to introduce a fresh face that matched the story’s requirements, and Abha was finalized after evaluating her talent and performance through a screen test.

For the film, Abha has been undergoing special training for action sequences, which is expected to make her role more powerful and realistic.

The film will also mark the debut of child artist Riddi Khatri in Nepali cinema. Selected through an audition, Ridwi outperformed many competitors to secure a significant role in Kashyap. The production team believes her acting will add a new dimension to the movie.

Abha Dhungana said, “The team is working extremely hard to make the film’s story, music, and all aspects outstanding. I believe Kashyap will not only entertain audiences but also deliver a meaningful message.”

Earlier, the production team had already unveiled the first-look poster featuring action hero Sabin Shrestha, which has sparked curiosity and excitement among the audience.

With a blend of action, romance, and musical excellence, Kashyap promises to be a complete entertainer, and filming is set to begin soon.
