Tihar Program Grandly Concluded at Everest School

Bhaktapur. A special program was grandly concluded at Everest School in Bhaktapur on the occasion of the Tihar festival, a symbol of Nepalese cultural heritage. The school celebrated Tihar as a medium to impart the message of culture and civilization alongside education.

The program began with student presentations based on the importance of Kaag Tihar (Crow Tihar) and Kukur Tihar (Dog Tihar). The message of respect for crows and the loyalty and friendship of dogs was highlighted through drama, songs, and dance.

On this occasion, the art and capabilities of dogs were also demonstrated. Following this, students delivered a message of cleanliness, light, and prosperity through a symbolic presentation of Laxmi Puja. The school premises were decorated with lamps, rangoli, and garlands, creating a delightful atmosphere.

A presentation reflecting Bhai Tika was also performed, which highlighted the bond of love and gratitude between sisters and brothers. The students presented the religious and cultural significance of all five days of Yamapanchak.

Speaking on the message of Tihar on the occasion, the school's Principal, Bhakta Rajbhandari, said, "Tihar is not just a festival; it is a symbol of our culture, love, and unity. It inspires us toward light, truth, and mutual goodwill."

The school announced that it successfully concluded the program by linking Tihar to educational, cultural, and moral values.
