“Teej Aayo Saathi Sangi” – New Teej Song by Sushila Basnet Released

Kathmandu – Celebrating the festive spirit of Haritalika Teej, singer Sushila Basnet Timilsina, currently residing in Boston, USA, has released her latest Teej song titled “Teej Aayo Saathi Sangi”. The song highlights the cultural significance of Teej through vibrant music and visuals rooted in traditional Nepali style.

Despite living abroad, Sushila Basnet has remained actively involved in Nepali music. The song was officially released on her YouTube channel and has already started garnering attention from audiences in Nepal and abroad.

The song features lyrics and music by Rawal Janak, with arrangement by Sandeep Karki. Bishnu Manandhar and Manoj Pariyar handled the audio mixing, while the recording was done by Bikram Thapa in Nepal and Om Karmacharya in the US.

Directed by Keshav Raj Bhatt, the music video showcases graceful performances by Juna Karki and Nitya Sharma Acharya. Shot in both Nepal and the United States, the video beautifully blends traditional and modern elements of the Teej celebration.

Sushila Basnet has previously released well-received songs like “Radha Krishna,” “Timro Mayako,” and “Meri Ma”, and her latest release continues to connect with the global Nepali audience, particularly among the diaspora celebrating Teej far from home.
