South Africa Secures Decisive Victory Over India in T20 World Cup Super 8

Kathmandu. South Africa achieved a spectacular victory over India in a Super 8 match of the ongoing T20 World Cup held in India and Sri Lanka.

In the match held on Sunday evening, South Africa secured a 76-run win over India. Playing at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, India was set a target of 188 runs for victory. In pursuit of the target, India was bowled out for 111 runs in 18.5 overs.

For India, Shivam Dube made the highest contribution with 42 runs off 37 balls, while opener Abhishek Sharma scored 15 runs, and captain Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya added 18 runs each.

Among the South African bowlers, Marco Jansen took 4 wickets and Keshav Maharaj took 3 wickets. Earlier, after winning the toss and electing to bat first, South Africa set a target of 187 runs at the loss of 7 wickets.
