Sisno Le Polyo’ Released: A Powerful Folk-Pop Song by Alina Chauhan and Pawan Pariyar
Kathmandu — A new folk-pop song titled ‘Sisno Le Polyo’ featuring the vocals of renowned singer Alina Chauhan and singer Pawan Pariyar has been officially released. The song premiered on Friday through the YouTube channel “TR Series” and has started receiving positive feedback from listeners and viewers shortly after its release.
The lyrics of the song were written by Tularam Lamichhane and Pawan Pariyar, with music also composed by Pariyar himself. Blending traditional folk emotions with modern musical arrangements, the song aims to appeal to the younger generation. The video features performances by Karishma Shahi, Suman Yogi, and other artists.
Symbolically titled ‘Sisno Le Polyo’ (which translates to “Stung by Nettle”), the song portrays stories of rural life, love, and emotional pain in the hill regions of Nepal. It metaphorically reflects the wounds of the heart and societal issues. Alina Chauhan’s melodious voice combined with Pawan Pariyar’s powerful singing has added emotional depth and appeal to the song.
