Shailisha Wins ‘APSDA Award–2025’ in the Philippines
Kathmandu: Shailisha Shakya, Academic Head of the Interior Design Faculty at IIFT School of Interior Design, has won the ‘APSDA Award–2025’ held in the Philippines, becoming the first Nepali interior designer to represent the country and receive an international award.
Active in the interior design field for the past eight years, Shailisha also runs ‘InDesign Solution’ and ‘The Posh,’ with ‘The Posh’ focusing on designing and producing bags. She had previously won the ‘Idea Excellence Award–2024’ in the Sustainable Design category.
Shailisha described receiving the APSDA Award as a major milestone in her career. She said, “Winning this international award in the Philippines is truly a proud moment for me.” The award, received for her Yakshya Restaurant project, is expected to further strengthen her recognition at the international level.-1755511089.jpg)
