RR FSU Cup–2082: Unity and Competition Through Volleyball, Winner to Receive Cash Prize in Lakhs

Kathmandu: With the slogan “Let all students unite,” the Free Student Union (FSU) of Ratna Rajya Laxmi (RR) Campus is organizing a national-level volleyball tournament. The “RR FSU Cup–2082,” an inter-campus national men’s volleyball competition, is set to begin from Bhadra 22 (September 7, 2025).
The tournament will run for six days, from Bhadra 22 to 27, in the premises of RR Campus. According to FSU President Lokesh Kumar Khadka, teams from various campuses across the country are expected to participate. He stated, “Through volleyball, our aim is to promote mutual cooperation, discipline, and unity among students. We expect participation from campuses nationwide.”
Attractive prizes have been arranged for the top-performing teams. The winning team will receive Rs. 300,000 in cash, a trophy, and a certificate. Similarly, the runner-up will be awarded Rs. 200,000, a trophy, and a certificate, while the third-place team will receive Rs. 100,000, along with a trophy and certificate.
Khadka said the tournament aims to foster positive competition and mutual understanding among educational institutions through sports. “This competition is also expected to spread the message of leadership development, teamwork, and national unity among students,” he added.

FSU Secretary Shailendra Upadhyay stated that the event is being held with the intention of promoting student unity through sports, based on the historical background of the student movement. He said, “This tournament is being organized with the belief that students should be active in sports along with academics. I appeal to all students, teachers, staff, and well-wishers to support the success of this event.”
