Recruitment of Temporary Police for Upcoming Elections in Kathmandu (Photos)
Kathmandu – With the upcoming House of Representatives election scheduled for Falgun 21, there has been a noticeable crowd of youths in Kathmandu following the opening of temporary police recruitment.
On Friday, long lines of applicants were seen at the Kathmandu Police Campus in Bhadrakali, submitting applications for temporary police positions. According to the Nepal Police, a total of 133,980 temporary police personnel are planned to be recruited for this election.
The Nepal Police has opened applications for over 133,000 “Election Police” (temporary police) for the upcoming House of Representatives election. The Human Resource Development Department (Recruitment and Selection Branch) of the Police Headquarters has called for applications to recruit 133,980 election police personnel.
Those interested in joining as temporary police can submit their applications from Poush 25 to Magh 1, including public holidays. Applications can be submitted between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM at the respective district police offices as well as the police campuses in Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur.
