Protest at Maitighar Against River Corridor Standards (Photos)

The Non-Judicial Road and River Standards Victims’ Struggle Committee staged a protest at Maitighar Mandala in Kathmandu.
On Thursday, demonstrators gathered to oppose the displacement of residents under the guise of new regulations, chanting slogans such as "Do not encroach on rivers" and "People cannot be displaced in the name of standards."
Additionally, the protesters have demanded the immediate scrap of the current river corridor standards.
