Prabhatpal Thakuri Signed for ‘Jadau’

Kathmandu, Asar 29 –
Actor Prabhatpal Thakuri has been signed as one of the lead actors in the upcoming film Jadau, which is based on an inter-caste love story. Popular and busy model-turned-actor Prabhatpal will be seen opposite actress Neeti Shah in the movie. Though the director has not been officially announced yet, the film is written and conceptually produced by Kaji Limbu.

The film boasts a strong cast lineup, with Mukun Bhusal, Neeti Shah, Richa Sharma, and Binod Neupane already on board prior to Prabhatpal’s signing. Expressing his excitement, Prabhatpal shared that he feels honored to share the screen with senior actors and is currently preparing intensively for the role.

The film will be jointly produced by Silver Screen Entertainment and Samishran Movies & Entertainment. Co-producers include Ramraja Subedi, Om Chemjong, Sumitra Devkota, and Narayan Shastri. Buddhi Majhi is managing the film's production. According to Silver Screen's Managing Director Bimala Bhandari, filming is scheduled to begin in the first week of Bhadra.

With music by Babul Giri and cinematography by Shyam Tamang, the film will be shot in various locations across Dang and Pyuthan. The production team plans to organize a press meet in the coming days to reveal more details about the film.
