Machhapuchhre Media & Multipurpose Pvt. Ltd. Honors Pothana Cup Runner-Up Players
Pokhara – Machhapuchhre Media & Multipurpose Pvt. Ltd. has honored the players who finished as runners-up in the 5th Pothana Cup 7-a-side football tournament. The players of the team Mardiseti Dotcom, published by the company, were recognized for their outstanding performance in securing the runner-up position.
Those honored included team coach Krishnaman Shrestha, team captain Saurav Karki, Bikal Bhandari, Raj Kshetri, Saroj Dahal, Rajan KC, Alis Budhathoki, Angel Kunwar, Sameer Kunwar, Sagar Nepali, and Sohit Thapa Magar.
The company organized a program on Saturday to honor the players with cash prizes and certificates.
The final match was recently held at the Pothana Setigraha Playground, Ward No. 7, Annapurna Rural Municipality, Kaski, where Mardiseti Dotcom lost 4–1 to the online news portal group ‘Wit Cup’ and secured the runner-up position. As runners-up, Mardiseti Dotcom received NPR 40,000 in cash, along with a trophy, medals, and certificates.
At the event, chief guest Suvin Shrestha, head coach of Gandaki Province Women’s Football, appreciated Machhapuchhre Media for promoting local players and pledged his full support to the sports sector.
Prakash Chandra Sapkota, advisor of Machhapuchhre Media & Multipurpose Pvt. Ltd., expressed happiness that the media company is actively providing a platform for players alongside its work in information technology.
Krishnaman Shrestha, president of Hemja United, assured continued support from himself and his organization for all activities undertaken by the company.
