NRNA Membership Drive Accelerates: Over 68,000 Approved by July 2025

Kathmandu, July 11 – The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) has been rapidly collecting memberships for its 2025–2027 term. Through the “Smart NRNA” mobile app, the membership process has been made more technology-friendly, transparent, and accessible.

According to NRNA’s official data, as of July 11, 2025, a total of 68,651 membership applications have been approved, with an additional 5,198 applications currently in the approval process. Memberships are being collected through 56 National Coordination Councils (NCCs) worldwide, most of which have now been integrated into the MIS system.

Japan leads the membership count with 18,393 approved members, followed by Australia with 15,551, the United States with 9,671, the UK with 3,508, and Saudi Arabia with 3,127. Canada, Qatar, Ireland, and the UAE have also reported notable participation.

By region, Asia Pacific has recorded 19,911 approved members, Oceania 16,536, the Americas 15,421, Europe 9,811, the Middle East 6,357, and Africa 615. In terms of overall participation, Asia Pacific leads with 29%, followed by Oceania with 24.1%.

Membership distribution has already been completed in Japan, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Ireland, Saudi Arabia, South Sudan, and France. The membership approval process is actively continuing in other countries, and the total number of members is expected to increase further in the coming days.
