Second Edition NPL: Two Crucial Matches Today, Pressure on Janakpur and Pokhara to Win

Two matches are scheduled today in the second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL), currently underway in the capital.

The first match will take place at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur, at 11:45 AM. In this match, the defending champions Janakpur Bolts will clash with Chitwan Rhinos.

Currently at the bottom after losing four consecutive games, Janakpur Bolts desperately need a win to mathematically remain in the playoff race. 

Chitwan Rhinos, which has won two out of four matches, wants to strengthen its playoff chances with a victory today.

The second match, starting at 4:00 PM in the afternoon, will feature Pokhara Avengers against Karnali Yacks. This game is crucial for both teams in their quest to reach the playoffs. 

Pokhara, having won only one out of four matches, will find its path to the playoffs easier with a win in this game.
