N-PABSON Children's Talent Identification and Sports Competition

Pokhara. All preparations have been completed for the Second Grand Children's Talent Identification Festival and Sports Competition–2082, organized by National PABSON, Kaski.

The Children's Talent Identification will be held from Mangsir 24 to 26 at the Pokhara Exhibition Centre and the Sports Competition will be held from Mangsir 20 to 23 at the Pokhara Stadium.

The formal inauguration of the program will, however, take place on Mangsir 24. Hemanta Adhikari, President of N-PABSON Kaski, informed that the various sub-committees formed to execute the program have completed their preparations.

According to Adhikari, 1,500 students from N-PABSON Kaski-affiliated schools will compete in various categories. Students from 43 affiliated schools of N-PABSON will participate in the competition. Trophies and medals will be awarded to the winning schools and students.

Adhikari informed that participation is expected to be wide-ranging as students and parents from private and community schools in Kaski and neighboring districts can also observe the festival. 

"We believe this festival will not only be a platform for students to express their inherent talents but also a place for learning," he said. "We invite all students and parents of Kaski to observe the festival to utilize this important opportunity."

Raju Kayastha, Head of Extra-curricular Activities for N-PABSON Kaski, informed that the Children's Talent Identification includes Group Folk Dance, Solo Singing, Drawing, Poetry Recitation, Acting, Science and Technology, Handicraft (materials made from leaves, straw, and bamboo strips), and English Oratory Competition.

Premraj Adhikari, Secretary of N-PABSON Kaski, informed that students from classes 9 to 12 will participate in the English Oratory Competition, while students from classes 1 to 10 will participate in the other competitions.

Similarly, the sports competitions include a Boys' Cricket Competition and a Boys' Futsal Competition. Treasurer Raju KC informed that students from classes 1 to 10 will participate in the Cricket Competition, while only students from classes 11 and 12 will participate in the Futsal Competition.

The opening match of the Cricket Competition, starting on Mangsir 20, will be between Alpha Academy and Siddharth Lovedale, while the opening match for Futsal will be between National Creation and New Galaxy. Both matches will be held at the Pokhara Stadium.

Under the sub-committees formed to execute the competition, Shivraj Paudel is the coordinator of the Group Folk Dance Competition with Pitriraj Adhikari and Bikram Subedi as members. Arjun Prasad Adhikari is the coordinator of the Solo Singing Competition with Hem Ranabhat, Rudra Prasad Adhikari as members, and Tilak Prasad Adhikari as advisor.

Similarly, Bishnu Prasad Paudel is the coordinator of the Drawing Competition with Mitra Rai and Suresh Raj Pandey as members. Hari Raj Adhikari is the coordinator of the Poetry Recitation Competition with Bikram Subedi and Bhuwan Paudel as members. Bikram Subedi is the coordinator of the Acting Competition with Dipu Bhari and Ashok Sharma as members.

Tolakant Neupane is the coordinator of the Science and Technology Competition with Ajay Thapa and Shaligram Parajuli as members. Ramesh Raj Paudel is the coordinator of the Handicraft Competition with Gagan Gurung and Somnath Paudel as members. Hem Ranabhat is the coordinator of the English Oratory Competition with Hari Dhamala and Mitra Rai as members.

Similarly, under the Sports Competition, Gyanendra Bahadur Thapa is the coordinator of the Cricket Competition with Himal Gurung and Devraj Karki as members. 

Arjun Prasad Pandey is the coordinator of the Futsal Competition with Gyanendra Bahadur Thapa, Himal Thapa as members, and Keshav Sharan Paudel as advisor.
