NOC Chief Sends Off Archers with Best Wishes for Dhaka Tournament
Kathmandu. Jeevan Ram Shrestha, President of the Nepal Olympic Committee (NOC), bid farewell on Wednesday to the Nepali athletes participating in the 24th Asian Archery Championship and the Nepali representatives attending the World Archery Congress.
The World Archery Congress and the Asian Archery Championship are taking place in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Archery Congress will be held from November 6 to 8, and the Asian Archery Championship will run from November 8 to 15.
Deepak Raj Gurung, President of the National Archery Association, and Ramesh Prasad Siwakoti, General Secretary, will participate in the World Archery Congress.
Similarly, Tilak Pun Magar and Gyanu Awale will represent Nepal in the Asian Archery Championship. NOC President Shrestha handed over sports equipment to both athletes and extended his best wishes for a good performance.
