No Matches Today as NPL Enters Rest Day for Pitch Management
Kathmandu - There will be no matches today in the ongoing second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL). Today has been kept as a rest day for pitch management after the conclusion of the league phase matches. The first qualifier match of the tournament will take place tomorrow.
The match, which will be held at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur at 4:00 PM (afternoon), will see Sudurpaschim Royals and Biratnagar Kings compete.
Sudurpaschim secured the top spot in the points table and Biratnagar reached the second spot, confirming their participation in the first qualifier.
Sudurpaschim won six out of their seven league phase matches, while Biratnagar won five out of seven. Sudurpaschim suffered a defeat only against Biratnagar in the league phase.
Biratnagar, however, was defeated by Chitwan and Lumbini.
