Nepali Team Bid Farewell for World Cup League-2 Tri-Series
Kathmandu. The Nepali national cricket team was given a farewell on Sunday for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup League-2 tri-series in the Netherlands.
The Nepali national men's cricket team, which will compete in the series against the Netherlands and Namibia, was bid farewell during a special ceremony on Sunday.
During the farewell event, Paras Khadka, the Secretary of the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), expressed confidence that the team would repeat the excellent performance they showed in Scotland last year.
Similarly, addressing the farewell ceremony, the captain of the Nepali team, Rohit Paudel, stated that the team combination is balanced and he is confident they will deliver a strong performance.
"Our team combination is very good. We are confident about delivering an excellent performance against the Netherlands and Namibia. We have prepared mentally accordingly, and every player will give their 100 percent," Paudel said.
Before the League-2 series involving the Netherlands, Namibia, and Nepal begins on July 21, Nepal will hold a preparatory camp in Jersey. CAN has informed that the team will also play two practice One-Day matches there on July 13 and 15.
