Nepal SBI Bank Celebrates 32nd Anniversary

Kathmandu, — Nepal SBI Bank Ltd. (NSBL) marked its 32nd anniversary with a special celebration on Monday, July 7, 2025. On the occasion of its Bank Day, NSBL organized an oath-taking ceremony where all employees pledged their dedication and commitment to the institution.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Ram Kumar Tiwari, Managing Director and CEO, highlighted the bank’s achievements over the years and called on employees to take personal responsibility for sustaining NSBL’s leadership in the financial sector. Mr. Vikas Anand, Deputy CEO and Chief Operating Officer, thanked all team members for their consistent contributions and urged them to continue their efforts in the coming years. Mr. Rajesh Kumar Panda, Chief Financial Officer, expressed gratitude to stakeholders and extended a vote of thanks to all participants.

In celebration of the anniversary and as part of its commitment to corporate social responsibility, the bank also organized a nationwide blood donation program across its provincial offices and corporate headquarters in Kamaladi, Kathmandu. Additionally, a wheelchair distribution program was held in Bhairahawa, Rupandehi, to support differently abled individuals.

With 32 years of service, NSBL now operates through 101 branches including a newly opened branch in Belbari, Morang, along with 22 extension counters, 7 provincial offices, 19 branchless banking units, 125 ATMs, and a corporate office in Kathmandu. The bank continues to strengthen its commitment to innovation, inclusion, and community service across Nepal.
