Photoshoot of Finalists for ‘Mrs. Purbeli Icon’ Second Edition Completed

Itahari. The photoshoot and video shoot of the finalists for the second edition of Mrs. Purbeli Icon have been completed in Itahari. On Wednesday, at the Solti Hotel in Itahari, 11 contestants posed for photographs and also recorded their introductory videos. The photoshoot was done by Nischal Shrestha of Nischal Gallery.

Organized by Open Space Pvt. Ltd., the competition aims not only to highlight beauty but also to promote women’s empowerment, according to the organizers.

The finalists of this edition include Kabina Pokhrel from Ramdhuni, Srijana Limbu from Morang, Seema Lakandri from Itahari, Archana Sitaula from Rangeli, Samita Rai from Itahari, Parina Rai from Khotang, Raisa Chaudhary from Duhabi Sunsari, Sita Puri from Itahari, Megha Khadka from Itahari, Anusha Kunwar from Itahari, and Urmila Magar from Itahari.

The contestants made it to the finals after passing through two rounds of digital and physical auditions. Currently, they are receiving training in ramp walk, public speaking, knowledge of women’s empowerment, and other intellectual skills. The choreography is being directed by Shubheksha Karki.

The first edition of Mrs. Purbeli Icon, a beauty pageant for married women, was successfully held last year. There are no restrictions on height or body size for participants.

At present, the finalists are also preparing for the talent round. The winner will receive attractive gifts worth NPR 100,000. The grand finale will take place in the first week of Ashoj in Itahari, according to the organizers.
