Butwal's Rakshya Panta Crowned Mrs. Nepal World 2025 Winner (photos)
Rakshya Panta from Butwal secured the title of Mrs. Nepal World 2025, the largest beauty pageant for married women, which concluded magnificently in the capital on Saturday night. She clinched the Mrs.
Nepal World 2025 title by outperforming 24 contestants in the grand finale, held with great pomp at the Nepal Police Club on Pradarsani marga, Kathmandu.
The Chief Judge, former Inspector General of Nepal Police Sarbendra Khanal, asked the decisive question during the final round: "Among the social evils prevailing in society, what would you like to eradicate?" Rakshya won the title by providing a precise answer to this query.
In addition to the top title and a scooter, Rakshya, who also earned the subsidiary title of KD Photography Most Photogenic, will have the opportunity to represent Nepal in the Mrs. World 2026 competition to be held in the USA.
Sanju Bhatta was crowned Mrs. Nepal International and also claimed the subsidiary title of Central Fashion School Fashion Icon. Dipika Tamang was named the MS Nepal International winner.
In the Mrs. Nepal World competition, Bidya Chauhan was the First Runners-up, also winning the Viewers' Choice and Facebook Choice titles.
Elina KC was the Second Runners-up, earning the Cute Care Best Hair title, and Nirmala Sunuwar was the Third Runners-up, winning the Savitri Kanchanjanga Best Dancer title. All runners-up received various gift hampers alongside their titles.
The Mrs. Nepal International winner will participate in the Mrs. International competition in Singapore, while the MS Nepal International winner will compete in the MS International competition, also to be held in Singapore, representing Nepal.
On the same occasion, actress, storyteller, and lyricist Pooja Chand was honored with the Honorary Mrs. Nepal World 2025 title.
This honor recognized her significant contribution to Nepali cinema, art, culture, and literature spanning nearly three and a half decades.
Prior to the award, models Yesraj Garach and Richa Thapa, accompanied by chorus artists, presented a dance tribute dedicated to her songs.
The competition, organized by Ribbon Entertainment and featuring various entertaining performances, also presented titles in numerous categories.
Aruna Lama received the Nepal Telecom Multimedia Voice Title, Tara Khanal won Mehta Cosmetics Healthy Skin, Sumnima Khapung was awarded Michelin Best Ramp Walk, Binita Adhikari received ARS Dental Best Smile, Bishnu Bhandari was honored with Reliable Diagnostic Laboratory Most Disciplined, and Kusum Khadka was named Cavins Most Friendly.
Kanchan Jha received Vinnie Most Talented, Kalpana Bista won Flightech International Mrs. Eco-Friendly, and Shubhana Rocca earned the Millennia Global Beauty with Compassion subsidiary title.
Furthermore, Emayung Rai received Ayush Veda Best Personality, Sumina Maharjan won Swasthya Shree Best Physic, Ganga Lamichhane was named Rajdhani Rastriya Dainik Intellectual Beauty, and Sajani Joshi received the Ribbon Entertainment Management Choice subsidiary title.
The judging panel for the event included former Inspector General of Police Sarbendra Khanal, actor, theater artist, and film director Saroj Khanal, actress Sunny Rauniyar, Mrs. Nepal World 2023 Prithiviya Thapa, glamour photographer Rajbhai Suwal, actor, choreographer, writer, and film producer Gajit Bista, and General Physician Dr. Kurt.
The competition was hosted by Sesame Limbu. The choreography was handled by Ashwini Kant Jha, and the dance choreography by Sandeep Bhujel. The event was coordinated by Samrat Shah, Anjan Pariyar, and Ganga Maharjan.
