30 Contestants Selected for the ‘Mr. Nepal’ Title

Kathmandu — Thirty young men will compete for the title of “Mr. Nepal 2025.” According to the organizer, Next Models Nepal, 30 contestants have been selected for the final competition through digital auditions from various cities including Itahari, Janakpur, Hetauda, Chitwan, Bhairahawa, Dhangadhi, Pokhara, Nepalgunj, and Kathmandu.

The selected contestants are: Krishna Kasudham (Nepalgunj), Indra Dhungel (Mahendranagar), Rejon kumar Gautam (Dhangadhi), Sandesh Gajurel (Nuwakot), Nishant Budhayer (Kanchanpur), Kushagra Gupta (Nepalgunj), Satyam Pathak (Kathmandu), Nischal Manandhar (Hetauda), Ajay Rauniyar (Duhabi, Sunsari), Bijay Syangtan (Makwanpur), Ashim Basnet, Girish Ratna Shakya (Bhadrapur, Jhapa), Pranip Shrestha (Kathmandu), Ajay Rijal (Dhangadhi), Sakriya Ghising Tamang (Kathmandu), Sandeep Bharati (Kathmandu), Angel Giri (Dharan), Ashish Giri (USA), Austin Sherchan (Lalitpur), Darpan Singh Giri (Pokhara), Dinesh Gurung (Syangja), Himanchal Raj KC (Lalitpur), Nishan Karki (Biratnagar), Sabal Katuwal (Katari, Udayapur), Bishanjung Niraula (Itahari), Sujal Upadhyaya (Bhairahawa), Prakash Chauhan (Morang), Nishant KC (Surkhet), Laxman Chand Thakuri (Baitadi), and Prabhat Thapa Chhetri (Nepalgunj).

All contestants will now participate in final preparation classes, which include swimming, football, rock climbing, community service, short hiking, catwalk, personality development, public speaking, and over a dozen other training activities. The event will also host various activities aimed at promoting domestic tourism in Nepal, according to Next Models Nepal’s Managing Director, Yatna Pandey.

The competition, organized to gather talented young men from across the country, will crown three winners: “Mr. World Nepal,” “Mr. Global Nepal,” and “Man of the World Nepal.” The winners will represent Nepal in “Mr. World 2025” or “Mr. Global 2025” and will also receive prizes worth 500,000 rupees. The choreography and mentorship for the event will be led by Prashant Tamrakar.

According to Rabi Dhamala, CEO of Next Models Nepal, this competition has been held annually since 2001 with the aim of developing personality, boosting self-confidence, revealing potential, and enhancing leadership skills in young men. It is Nepal’s largest and most prestigious male beauty pageant. The organizers claim that this year’s event will be grander than ever before.

The final competition will be held at the Soltee Hotel on September 12.
