‘Maagne Raja’ First Song Released Featuring Kedar Ghimire and Barsha Siwakoti
The first song from the film Maagne Raja, starring popular comedian Kedar Ghimire (Maagne Budha) and actress Barsha Siwakoti, has been released. The dance number titled "Tyo Mitho Jowan" features lyrics and music by Deepak Sharma, and vocals by Rachana Rimal and Sabin Subedi.
The video, choreographed by Kabiraj Gahatraj, stars Kedar and Barsha. It was edited by Mitra D. Gurung, with cinematography by Narendra Mainali. The film is produced by Madhusudan Sharma, and Yama Prasad Wali served as the production manager. Both the audio and video have been well-received and are expected to win viewers’ hearts.
Director Rishi Lamichhane is making a comeback after 8 years with this film. He shared that Maagne Raja portrays the story of today’s youth who see themselves as kings in their own world. The film’s producer and presenter, Munal Ghimire—currently the ward chairperson of Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan City Ward No. 4—returns to filmmaking after a long gap since his film Iccha.
Produced under the banner of Aarambha Production, the film also stars Pushkar Gurung, Shishir Wangel, Sharda Giri, and TikTok model Pavitra Saki (Miss Pabi), with a special appearance by actor Aryan Sigdel. The film will be distributed by RR Films, with screenplay, story, and dialogues by Samipya Raj Timalsina and music by Deepak Sharma and Babul Giri.
