‘Karry’ EV to be Unveiled at NAIMA Mobility Expo – A New Option for Commercial and School Transportation

LXG Motors Pvt. Ltd., under Laxmi Group, has officially announced the introduction of the renowned Chinese commercial electric vehicle brand ‘Karry’ in the Nepali market. Two new electric vans from the Karry brand will be unveiled at the NAIMA Mobility Expo 2025, organized by the Nepal Automobile Importers and Manufacturers Association (NAIMA), starting from Shrawan 21.

Laxmi Group, the authorized distributor of globally recognized automobile brands such as Hyundai and BMW, as well as SML Isuzu in the commercial vehicle segment, continues its electric mobility journey by stepping into the fully electric commercial vehicle segment. The Karry brand is part of Chery Commercial Vehicles, one of the world’s leading automobile manufacturers, known globally for its reliability, safety, and superior performance.

Under the Karry brand, KEVAN 1 and KEVAN 2 electric van variants are being launched. The Commercial Variant will be available in a modern grey color for business use, while the School Variant will be offered in a safety yellow color, tailored for school and college transportation.

Equipped with a 53 kWh CATL battery, these vans are claimed to offer a maximum range of up to 300 kilometers on a full charge. The company has stated that the official launch and detailed information will be shared during the NAIMA Mobility Show 2025.
