Karnali SVS Signs Brazilian Player Ana Flavia

Kathmandu: For the second season of the Everest Women’s Volleyball League (EWVL), Karnali SVS has signed Brazilian player Ana Flavia. The team announced that setter Ana Flavia has been contracted for the league, which will be held this Bhadra.

Ana, who started her professional volleyball career in Brazil, has also played in Spain, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Switzerland. She was declared the best setter in both Slovakia and Spain. The second edition of the Everest Women’s Volleyball League, organized by Infinity Dreams, will take place from September 5 (Bhadra 20) to September 13 (Bhadra 28).

Previously, Karnali SVS had appointed legendary actor Rajesh Hamal as their brand ambassador. Coaches Kumar Rai and marquee player Sumitra Regmi will continue with the team this year as well. Karnali SVS was also the winner of the first edition. To secure victory in the second edition, the team has included foreign players in their squad.
