Grand Opening of Hotel Smart by Great Actor Rajesh Hamal and Famous Celebrities

Kathmandu — Hotel Smart, offering various services and facilities, has started operations at Dhumbarahi Chowk, Kathmandu. On Monday evening, the grand opening of the hotel was attended by great actor Rajesh Hamal along with many renowned celebrities.

Great actor Hamal inaugurated the main entrance of the hotel by lighting a lamp on a panas and cutting the ribbon in a grand manner. Singer Pramod Kharel inaugurated the second entrance, journalist Prakash Subedi opened the café, the singing duo Milan Newar and Melina Rai inaugurated the wellness center, Laxman Paudel, director of The Voice of Nepal, inaugurated the Thakali section, and another journalist, Sushil Nepal, inaugurated the rooftop bar.

“If you like this hotel, you will definitely like my house too, because the people who built this hotel also built my new house,” said great actor Rajesh Hamal during the hotel opening ceremony. Hamal has been living in his new house located in Budhanilkantha since Baishakh 1.

Similarly, Prakash Subedi appreciated the construction of such a well-equipped hotel on a main highway. Singer Pramod Kharel, Melina Rai, and Milan Newar said that since the hotel is close to The Voice’s studio, it is a good place for refreshment.

Built at an approximate cost of 40 crore rupees, Hotel Smart features 17 rooms, a banquet hall with a capacity of 600, a restaurant with 100 seats, a café, a Thakali house, swimming pool, sauna steam, jacuzzi, rooftop garden, and restaurant.

The hotel is operated by 35-year-old youth Suresh Karki and his group. During the inauguration, Suresh said, “This hotel targets customers from all classes. It offers many facilities and is customer-friendly all in one place.”
