Goreto Educational Consultancy Concludes 5th Annual General Meeting
Kathmandu. Goreto Educational Consultancy has successfully concluded its fifth Annual General Meeting (AGM). Organized under the theme "Refine, Refresh, and Recharge," the organizers stated that the meeting aimed to further strengthen the institution's sustainable service, social responsibility, and student-centered counseling culture.
The AGM, which saw significant participation from employees working in various branches across Nepal and Canada, was not limited to a formal meeting but focused on learning, self-reflection, team-building, and institutional reform. Special discussions were held on setting a clear direction for the coming year, improving the quality of student services, and strengthening internal teamwork.
During the program held in an eco-friendly environment, communication expert and trainer Rajesh Pathak shared that effective communication, trust, and a positive work culture are the foundations for the long-term success of an educational consultancy. Participating exercises were conducted on team coordination, active listening, and the distribution of responsibilities.
On this occasion, Goreto's Managing Director Dheeraj Kandel, along with senior counselors and coordinators, reviewed the institution's overall performance. They delivered a clear message that Goreto’s core identity is not about pressuring students for quick decisions, but providing honest, realistic guidance centered on the student’s future.
The AGM highlighted the need to provide counseling services by understanding the real challenges faced by Nepali students during foreign studies, such as the fear of visa rejection, financial pressure, and misconceptions created by social media. Goreto reaffirmed its commitment to providing transparent, responsible, and reliable services for Nepali students wishing to study in Canada, Australia, the UK, and the USA.
On the same occasion, Prakash Regmi, Head of Marketing and Sales at Goreto Educational Consultancy, Baneshwor, stated that the institution has been prioritizing the value of coexistence with nature. He expressed the view that it is necessary to protect nature in its original state to promote internal and external tourism. According to him, preserving the natural trekking trails in the hilly and rural areas of Nepal is the foundation of sustainable tourism.
Focusing on CSR values, service standards, student-centered counseling, and a team-based institutional culture, Goreto Educational Consultancy expressed its goal to move forward with a target of making a sustainable contribution to the education and social sectors.
