National Sports Council Member-Secretary Ghising Commits to Bold Sports Sector Reforms
Kathmandu. Member-Secretary of the National Sports Council, Tankalal Ghising, has expressed his commitment to fiercely advocate in every debate concerning the time-appropriate restructuring and development of the Nepali sports sector.
Speaking at his farewell ceremony on Friday, after the conclusion of his four-year tenure, he stated that he had reached the depths of the sports sector and studied every subject closely, vowing to stand firm on the development and resolution of disputes within this area.
He said, "In four years, I have reached the depths and studied every subject closely. I will fiercely engage in all areas of debate regarding the time-appropriate restructuring of Nepali sports, the priorities of the Nepali sports sector, the resolution of its disputes, and the necessary steps for development. I am standing here to proclaim this commitment."
He further mentioned that he had constantly strived for new milestones and heights in sports. He also stated that it is not his nature to seek credit for the successes of every endeavor.
Furthermore, he thanked everyone who assisted him during his successful four-year term and expressed his commitment to continue his journey with the Nepali sports world in a new role in the time to come.
