Kathmandu - The Biratnagar Kings proudly announce the arrival of two major international signings, Scotland’s explosive opener George Munsey and Australian batting sensation Sam Heazlett, as both players land in Kathmandu to join the squad ahead of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) Season 2 on November 13th.
Munsey, known worldwide for his aggressive batting, fierce strike rate, and consistent performances in T20Is and ODIs, has been a standout figure for Scotland. His arrival adds immense firepower to the team’s top order and further strengthens the squad’s tactical depth.
Joining him is Australia’s Sam Heazlett, a seasoned Big Bash League (BBL) performer who has represented the Brisbane Heat and Hobart Hurricanes. Renowned for his elegant stroke play, left-handed finesse, and ability to accelerate the innings, Heazlett brings top-tier experience from one of the world’s most competitive T20 leagues. His presence bolsters the team’s batting core, adding stability and explosiveness in equal measure.
With Munsey and Heazlett joining an already star-studded roster featuring global icons like Martin Guptill and Faf du Plessis, alongside national talents, the Biratnagar Kings have solidified their intent for a powerful title campaign this season.
