Gagan Thapa Applauds Shark Tank Nepal, Praises Women Entrepreneurs Featured in Premiere
Kathmandu — Nepali Congress leader and Member of Parliament Gagan Thapa has lauded the launch of Shark Tank Nepal, expressing his admiration for the show's opening episode which featured two female entrepreneurs. Thapa took to Facebook to commend the platform for celebrating Nepal’s entrepreneurial spirit and encouraging innovation across the country.
“What a great way to kick off a show with its own legacy and a global audience,” Thapa wrote, referring to the global format of the popular business reality show. “Shark Tank Nepal is a testament to the fact that Nepalese are entrepreneurial at heart.”
He further expressed hope that the program would motivate many across Nepal to pursue their own ventures and contribute to the nation's economic growth. “I hope it will inspire millions in Nepal to start something of their own,” he added.
The politician also congratulated the creators of the show and said he was looking forward to more episodes.
Shark Tank Nepal, modeled after the internationally acclaimed franchise, provides a platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to pitch their business ideas to a panel of investors, or "sharks," in hopes of securing funding and mentorship.
