Friendly Futsal Match Concludes Between FNCCI and Artists' Association
Kathmandu. A friendly futsal match was held in Kathmandu between the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) and the Nepal Film Artists' Association.
Representatives from both organizations actively participated in the friendly game, which was organized by FNCCI's Sports and Entertainment Forum and coordinated by the Artists' Association.
Inaugurating the match, Chandra Prasad Dhakal, President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, stated that such friendly games strengthen mutual relations, coordination, and cooperation.
According to him, these activities are important for exchanging peace, understanding, and positive energy between institutions, making the futsal match organized in collaboration with the Artists' Association an exemplary step.
The FNCCI side saw the presence of President Dhakal, along with Vice Presidents and other officials, while the Artists' Association side had notable participation from Captain Shiva Shrestha, Dhiren Shakya, President Mohan Niroula, former President Rabindra Khadka, Rajkumar Rai, film journalist Samir Balami, technician Pushkar Lama, director Janakdeep Parajuli, current board members Gopal Kaji Kayastha, Chakra Bahadur Chand, Gajit Bista, Rajiv Manandhar, Raj Katuwal, Asmita Ranpal, Pavitra Acharya, Roshan Shrestha, Rohit Rumba, DB Ale, Sugam Katuwal, Ankrist Pradhan, Sunil Katuwal, and other artists.
Out of the three friendly matches played, two ended in a draw, while in the third and final match, FNCCI defeated the artists' team with a score of 7-4, securing the win.
From the artists' side, Sugam Katuwal displayed an excellent performance, scoring 3 goals, and Asmita Ranpal contributed 1 goal.
The match was held under the chairmanship of Hari Bahadur Karki, Chairman of the FNCCI's Sports and Entertainment Forum, and coordinated by Sunil Katuwal, Treasurer of the Artists' Association.
Mohan Niroula, President of the Artists' Association, stated that the friendly futsal has further deepened mutual brotherhood, friendship, goodwill, and cooperation.
He added that such sports activities create a golden opportunity for the exchange of positive energy between the two organizations.
