FINYE Annual General Meeting Held in the U.S.; Sabindra Thapa Elected as Chairperson

The Federation of International Nepali Youth Entrepreneurs (FINYE), a global network of Nepali entrepreneurs, successfully held its North America Entrepreneurial Conference and Annual General Meeting in Dallas, Texas, USA. Around 200 Nepali entrepreneurs from across North America enthusiastically participated in the conference.

The program was inaugurated in a unique way, with eight-year-old Anya Shrestha officially starting the event by watering a plant as the chief guest.

Distinguished personalities from Nepal and the U.S. addressed the conference as speakers. Amit Agrawal, founder of the digital wallet ‘Khalti,’ and Pralhad Giri, Director of Nepal Rastra Bank (special guest), shared their experiences from Nepal.

Likewise, international speaker Ryan Manley, FINYE IEC founder and Vice President Prakash Thapa, and Prabuddha Dahal shed light on various aspects of entrepreneurship.

During a panel discussion moderated by Sajan Gautam, speakers including Satish Gaire, Sunil Sah, Suman Thapa, Anu Tamang, and Pralhad Giri presented valuable perspectives on entrepreneurship and economic growth.

Meanwhile, the AGM unanimously elected a new executive committee for FINYE America’s 2025-2027 term. Sabindra Thapa was elected as Chairperson.

The committee includes Narayan Khakurel as Senior Vice President, Raj Prakash Bhandari and Ram Hari Thapa as Vice Presidents, Anu Tamang as General Secretary, Soni Thapa as Secretary, and Shraddha Thakuri as Treasurer.

Other committee members include Anita Gurung, Deepak Kharel, Chani Lama, Chakrapani Adhikari, Navaraj Acharya, Robin Karki (Ryan), Sunil Gautam, and Reshma Tamrakar.

The responsibility of Communications Coordinator and Spokesperson has been assigned to Om Acharya, President and Editor-in-Chief of US Khabar.
