England vs Pakistan T20 World Cup Super 8 Match Preview

Kathmandu. The fifth match of the ICC T20 World Cup (Super 8) will feature a clash between England and Pakistan today. The match, to be held at Pallekele in Kandy, Sri Lanka, will start at 7:15 PM Nepal time. 

Having strengthened its semifinal prospects by defeating the host team Sri Lanka in the first match, a victory for England would nearly secure their spot in the next round, while Pakistan, currently with 1 point, needs a win to ease their path to the semifinals.

This second match in Group 2 will be decisive for both England and Pakistan in determining their route to the semifinals. A victory against Pakistan would almost guarantee England's advancement. 

In the Twenty20 format, England holds the upper hand between the two teams. Out of a total of 31 matches played so far in this format, England has won 21 games, while Pakistan has won 9, with one match ending in no result.
