Disasters Affect Road Sections in Myagdi and Gorkha

Kathmandu. Key road sections in Myagdi and Gorkha districts under Gandaki Province have been affected due to natural disasters. Nepal Police released details as of 6:00 AM this morning, providing updates on road blockages and operational status.

The Beni–Jomsom road section, which was blocked after a landslide occurred at Baisari in Raghuganga Rural Municipality-2 on the morning of September 26 at 5:50 AM, has now been partially opened for one-way traffic. Due to flooding on the morning of October 11 at 5:30 AM, Ward Nos. 2, 3, and the Nayapul area of Ward No. 9 in Arughat Rural Municipality have been affected. The iron bridge at Soti and the road section connecting Gorkha's Arughat to Dhading remain completely blocked.
