Crowds Gather for Bishwakarma Puja at Bhadra Kali Temple in Kathmandu

Kathmandu – On the occasion of Bishwakarma Puja today, a large crowd of devotees gathered from early morning at the Bhadra Kali Temple in Kathmandu to worship their vehicles.

Devotees throng not only Bhadra Kali but also other places in Kathmandu to offer prayers to Lord Bishwakarma.

Every year on the day of Ashwin Sankranti, this festival is celebrated by performing rituals and worshiping statues or images of Lord Bishwakarma in various factories.

The idols worshiped today are immersed in rivers the following day. Factories are specially decorated for the occasion, and worship ceremonies are held to mark the day
