Life in the Terai-Madhesh region has become difficult due to a sudden increase in cold over the past week. As the temperature dropped, market areas have started looking empty, and fewer people are seen traveling.
In rural areas, farmers are starting their field work later than usual because of the weather. Thick morning fog and cold winds have affected farming activities.
Those who take cattle out to graze are also facing many problems. To protect them from the cold, farmers have started wrapping their cattle in clothes.
