Boarding Schools Hold Street Rally even in Pokhara to Protest Education Bill

Pokhara — Alleging that the new education bill is not friendly to private schools, boarding school operators staged a protest on the streets of Pokhara. Members of PABSON and N-PABSON organized a rally of school buses, carrying black flags and banners.

The rally began at Shahid Chowk and passed through Mustang Chowk, Birauta, Lakeside, Zero, Mahendrapul, and Prithvi Chowk before returning to Shahid Chowk. Similar rallies were also held in Lekhnath, Amarsingh Chowk, and Harichowk.

Protesters stated that the new education bill is unfair and inconvenient for private schools, expressing their strong opposition.
