Nepal Premier League: Biratnagar Kings vs. Chitwan Rhinos Today
Kathmandu. Today, the Biratnagar Kings and Chitwan Rhinos are facing off in the second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL).
The match is scheduled to begin at 4 PM on Wednesday (Today) at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, where the Biratnagar Kings and Chitwan Rhinos will compete.
Biratnagar is being captained by Sandeep Lamichhane, while Kushal Malla is the captain of Chitwan. Biratnagar, having played three matches, has secured 6 points with consecutive wins. Chitwan, having played only two matches, has just two points.
Biratnagar has not faced a single defeat so far. Although Biratnagar and Sudurpaschim have the same points in the points table, Biratnagar is in second place based on run rate. Chitwan is in the fifth position in the table.
Chitwan won its first match against Karnali by four wickets, but lost the second match to Lumbini by six wickets.
Eight franchise teams are competing in the NPL: Janakpur Bolts, Sudurpaschim Royals, Karnali Yaks, Pokhara Avengers, Biratnagar Kings, Chitwan Rhinos, Kathmandu Gorkhas, and Lumbini Lions.
