Baneshwor's Sidewalks Becoming Hazardous in the Name of Maintenance (Photos)

In the capital's busy Baneshwor area, the repeated digging up and relaying of bricks in the name of sidewalk construction and maintenance has forced pedestrians to make perilous journeys.

Bricks, blocks, and large potholes left haphazardly across the sidewalk area have caused daily hardships for the public commuting through. Physically disabled individuals, senior citizens, and visually impaired people, in particular, are facing additional difficulties navigating the area during the night.

The risk of accidents has heightened as construction materials are scattered along the roadside without proper management.
