'Aba Jagna Parchha' Music Video Launched in Support of Anti-Corruption 'Gen Z Movement'
Kathmandu: The Hem Sarita Pathak Foundation successfully launched the music video for the song 'Aba Jagna Parchha' (Now We Must Wake Up) at a program held at Dalo Restaurant in Anamnagar, Kathmandu.
The event, chaired by the Foundation's International President, Jenny Pathak, saw the release of the music video. The lyrics for the song were penned by the Foundation’s Chief Patron, lyricist Hem Pathak, while the music and vocals were provided by B B Anuragee and Shishir Yogi.
During the program, Chief Patron Hem Pathak addressed the audience, clarifying the Foundation's campaign and explaining the song's core message and purpose.
International President Jenny Pathak delivered her remarks, paying tribute to those who sacrificed their lives in the 'Gen Z Movement' and emphasized the need for everyone to be vigilant against corruption. She stated clearly that there will be no vote for corrupt individuals in the upcoming elections.
The program was facilitated by the Foundation’s International General Secretary, Radheshyam Lekali. Speakers who delivered congratulatory messages included former Minister Hon. Dipendra Shrestha, veteran artist Madandas Shrestha, and Nepali film actor Sanjay Khatiwada.
The event saw a strong attendance from various representatives, journalists, literary figures, and activists, including the Foundation's Ambassador, senior artist Kiran K. C., former Chairman of the Public Service Commission Umesh Mainali, lyricist and social worker Shobhit Upreti, former President of the Federation of Nepali Journalists Bishnu Nisthuri, Prof. Dr. Govindaman Singh Karki, and Executive Editor of ANESAS Darpan Ramesh Dahal.
