Thapa: RPP-N Will Not Discuss Religious Issues Of The State With Modi
BadalNepal, Kathmandu, July 30- Chairman of Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal (RPP-N) Kamal Thapa said his party will not not be discussing Nepal’s religion and monarchy with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is arriving in Kathmandu on August 3 for a two-day official visit.
Thapa said that the topics of state religion, monarchy, secularism and republic are Nepal’s internal affairs which should be decided by the Nepali people and parties. He added that economic agendas should be prioritised rather than such political issues.
Thapa also said the country should take advantage from the visit of Indian prime minister.
Thapa also criticised the government and the major political parties for not doing enough homework to chalk out the agendas to discuss with the Indian prime minister.
